Each artwork is inspired by the pages of Monumental which were co-written by gorillas. The very DNA of the book has been embedded into each piece with its ashes mixed into the ink, and hand-applied using traditional linoprint techniques. These artworks are the forefathers of all that follows.

ANCESTOR EDITION
Like the Ashes edition, Ancestor artwork is also inspired by the pages of Monumental co-written by gorillas. These are each a limited edition of 10. For added authenticity, they can be upgraded to become an Ashes Edition, where ashes from the book is mixed in with the ink. Once upgraded, that artwork is retired, with the piece becoming a true 1/1. To arrange, please contact Nick directly.

These prints are simplified versions of their forefathers – think of them as the offspring of their wise old ancestors: smaller, gentler, and a little more innocent.
